Also, we are not open to the public during field trips. We may have more than one school during your visit, but only the children and the school's allowed guests are at the farm on your day.

Field Trip FAQs
Q: Is there a minimum number required?
A: No group is too small, but due to minimum number of staff required to operate the farm, we will work with smaller groups to schedule with other larger groups. We appreciate smaller groups being flexible with their dates to visit.
Q: Are there special days or times for homeschools?
A: NEW for 2023, we will be designating specific dates for homeschool groups in order to better serve both our homeschool students and our traditional students more efficiently. Please respect those dates that are indicated as such. As always, we will work with your group if there are some questions or special arrangements need to be made.
Q: Is there a specific time of day suggested for field trips?
A: Most field trips are scheduled between the hours of 9am-2pm. Please allow a minimum of 3 hours for your visit. Some stay the entire day!
Q: Is a rain date required?
A: A rain date is not required. However, some like to go ahead in order to be able to reserve their buses. We will of course work with your schedule to fit you in.
Q: May we bring in sack lunches?
A: You are more than welcome to bring in sack lunches. We do offer concessions which is always open during field trips. If you want to leave the work to us, we are capable of serving large groups upon request Please see the Corn Cafe menu for pricing.
Q: How do we make payment?
A: All parents and siblings need to pay upon arrival as they need to sign a waiver as well. Please do not collect money for parents and siblings as this makes it more confusing. You may bring a check, purchase order, or be billed for student payment the day of your field trip. A W-9 is available upon request.
